How to Build Your Own Public Health Brand @ GWU DrPH Symposium

Had such a great time yesterday at the The George Washington University- Milken Institute School of Public Health DrPH Symposium where I kicked off the day with a session on "How to Build Your Own Public Health Brand" and show up with clarity, confidence and purpose. Starting the day this way felt especially meaningful, and having my husband there made it even more special.

Really nice to reconnect with my former HHS colleagues Sarah Newman Boateng, MHA and Michael Iademarco and to see how their work continues to shape public health in important ways. I also loved seeing my rockstar Social Change and Collective Impact course colleagues Dr. Sydnae Law, Dr.Terri D. Wright and Sherrie Flynt Wallington, PhD which added to an already great day.

Grateful to Gene Migliaccio and Dr. Sydnae Law for the invitation and to everyone who joined, asked thoughtful questions, and followed up afterward.

Good luck to everyone this semester, let’s make 2026 a great one! 😊
