From my earliest days in public health to building a career rooted in health equity, infectious disease, and community impact, one thing has remained constant: my commitment to ensuring our work reaches those too often left at the margins.

Being named to the 2026 Black Health Connect 40 Under 40 is both an incredible honor and a meaningful reminder that the journey matters just as much as the destination.

And this recognition is not a finish line. It is fuel. Fuel to continue building, advocating, mentoring, and creating pathways for healthier and more equitable futures.

To my village, mentors, colleagues, community partners, family, and friends, thank you. Your support has sustained me, challenged me, and helped shape this moment.
