🌟 National Public Health Week 2026: From Evidence to Action, Together 🌟

As we kick off National Public Health Week, I’m reflecting on the power of community and collaboration in public health.

Public health is under pressure and going through growing pains, but one thing I love about our field is that we never stop thinking about others.
Now is the time to:
✅ Volunteer
✅ Reach out
✅ Check on each other
Feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, or burned out? You are not alone.
Feeling fired up and ready to create some good TROUBLE? You are not alone.
I recently had the privilege of working with fellow DrPHers and public health leaders to co-author From Evidence to Action: The Contribution of DrPH-Prepared Professionals to Advanced Public Health Practice, submitted to the American Journal of Public Health.
